She holds a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and an Executive MBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), which gave her an opportunity to undertake a module in Harvard University in U.S.A.
Benny-Jean has a wealth of experience in business, including 15years of Supply Chain and Procurement experience, having worked across most of the 22 countries in Nestle Central and West Africa Region (CWAR) between 2001 and 2016. She also has strong leadership skills and management experience from leading the implementation of a regional Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project in Nestle Egypt as well as heading the Procurement and Customer Facing Supply Chain Departments in her last 5 years in Nestle, between 2011 and 2016.
She joined the Oil and Gas Sector in 2017, as the Group Supply Chain Manager and Head of Operations for Meridian Logistics and Engineering (MLE) and the Chief Operating Officer for Eco Natural Resources (ENR), both affiliated and indigenous Ghanaian owned Businesses/Companies.
MLE is into Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management and Logistics Operations; it was awarded as the Best Engineering Company (Downstream), in the 2018 and 2019 Ghana Oil and Gas awards. Whereas ENR, is the local partner for a Joint Venture Company that provides Chemical Production and Management Services for Tullow on both Jubilee and TEN fields offshore.
Mrs. Laryea is well travelled and has a passion for mentoring and coaching young talent.
She is married and blessed with three strong boys.
